OpenFrame is now on iOS: the new OpenFrame Console Mobile App puts your tickets, devices, and notifications in your pocket. This release also brings sharper ticket visibility with activity and staleness indicators, human-readable Ticket Numbers, sidebar notification counts by category, and a richer Customer Details tab with phone number, notes, and all filled fields displayed. Script schedules now support local machine time, and vulnerability syncing shows real-time progress so technicians always know when data is up to date. Dozens of additional fixes and refinements round out this major release.

Features Added
8

  • OpenFrame Console Mobile App (iOS)

OpenFrame is now available as a native iOS mobile app, bringing the Console experience to technicians on the go - manage tickets, devices, and notifications directly from your iPhone.

  • Ticket activity and staleness indicators

Ticket board and list views now surface activity and staleness signals, helping technicians quickly spot tickets that need attention and avoid tickets going unnoticed.

  • Reflect Ticket Number

Tickets now display a human-readable Ticket Number instead of only an internal ID, making it easy to reference a ticket by number in calls, chat, and across Fae and Mingo.

  • Notification counts on sidebar tabs by category

Sidebar tabs (Tickets, Scripts, Devices, and more) now show real notification count badges driven by notification categories, replacing the previous frontend-only workaround. Mingo dialogs also display a count.

  • Script Schedule - Local Machine Time option

Scheduled scripts can now be configured to run based on either your account's local time or the target device's local machine time, with logs recorded in UTC for clarity.

  • Phone number field on Customer Details

Customer Details now includes a phone number field that can be filled in, saved, and viewed alongside other customer information.

  • Customer notes and all filled fields shown on Details tab

The Customer Details tab now displays customer notes and all other relevant filled-in customer fields, so technicians no longer need to open the edit form just to view this information.

  • Vulnerability sync progress indicator

A progress/sync indicator now shows on the vulnerabilities view during both initial vulnerability collection and updates after device changes, so technicians know when data is still refreshing versus final.

Bugs Fixed
21

  • Fleet timeouts during live queries and policy creation

Fixed consistent HTTP timeout errors when running live queries or creating policies through Fleet MDM via Mingo, even though target machines were confirmed online.

  • Timezone Jet Stream listener failure

Fixed an issue with the Jet Stream listener responsible for timezone handling.

  • Fae ticket status not updating in real time on Mac

Fixed an issue where moving a ticket to Resolved did not reflect in real time on Fae for Mac, requiring a manual reload.

  • Misleading MDM connection status on device Security page

Removed the confusing 'Connected to Fleet' MDM field from the device Security page, since it reflected MDM enrollment rather than actual agent health and did not apply to OpenFrame's usage of Fleet.

  • Ticket board unusable on mobile and tablet

Fixed the ticket board so it is fully usable on tablet and phone viewports, replacing broken drag-and-drop and oversized desktop layouts with a touch-friendly, responsive design.

  • Pending-deletion devices appearing in script device selection

Devices marked 'Pending deletion' are now excluded from the device selection list when assigning scripts.

  • Missing indication that integrated tool data is still syncing

Added loading/processing indicators for software inventory and vulnerability data collected from integrated tools, so users no longer see blank screens with no explanation.

  • Filter dropdowns missing item counts

Restored server-provided facet counts in filter dropdowns for devices, scripts, and related views so users can see how many results each option contains.

  • SSO email prefill blocking direct sign-in

Removed the requirement to enter an email before using SSO; SSO buttons (Google, Microsoft, Apple) are now available by default, including on the login page, with automatic fallback to registration when needed.

  • Non-functional install methods selectable on New Device page

Winget, Chocolatey, and Brew install options are now disabled (but visible) on the New Device page since their packages are not yet published, leaving Script as the only selectable method.

  • Duplicate 'Ticket Resolved' system message in PSA chat

Fixed an issue where resolving a ticket from the PSA chat posted the 'Ticket Resolved' system message twice with identical timestamps.

  • Mingo hanging when summarizing long conversations

Fixed a loop where Mingo would get stuck repeatedly summarizing older parts of long conversations instead of continuing, which made sessions unusable and consumed excess compute.

  • Client token refresh relying on local device time

Token refresh no longer depends on the device's local clock, preventing premature or delayed refreshes and auth failures caused by clock skew.

  • updateTicket tool failing on title updates

Fixed an error that prevented updating a ticket's title and description via the admin assistant tool, which previously required workaround notes instead.

  • Tool Discovery tool crashing in approval batch flow

Fixed a crash caused by the Tool Discovery tool being incorrectly routed through the standard tool-approval batch pipeline, since it isn't a standard OpenFrame-registered tool.

  • Mesh agent crash-loop causing Remote Desktop outages on Windows

Fixed a critical issue where the Mesh agent entered a self-termination loop on Windows terminal servers, saturating SCM and deadlocking Remote Desktop Services, requiring hardware-level resets.

  • osquery live query test falsely reporting SUCCESS after timeout

Fixed the Monitoring query test panel incorrectly showing a green SUCCESS state on timeout, cancellation, dropped connections, or failed campaigns, even when no results were returned.

  • PSA integration loop incomplete

Fixed multiple gaps in the PSA integration where resolutions weren't reported back, tickets stayed open after resolution, notifications fired inconsistently with placeholder text, and configuration changes required reloads to take effect.

  • Device filters not prioritizing display name

Aligned device filters with the single source of truth and updated filtering/display logic to prioritize display name over hostname.

  • Cursor pagination returning empty pages on full pages

Fixed pagination incorrectly reporting hasNextPage as true whenever a page was exactly full, which led to an empty page after following the cursor.

  • Agent reports online but command execution still fails

Fixed a follow-up issue where devices showing as online in search still rejected command execution ('No online machines found') after a prior fix.

Improvements
18

  • Unified drag-and-drop across the UI

Migrated all UI drag-and-drop interactions to Atlaskit Pragmatic DnD for consistency and reliability, and disabled drag-and-drop on touch devices where it previously behaved unpredictably.

  • Stripe Customer Portal access from Settings

Account owners can now open the Stripe Customer Portal directly from Settings to manage billing.

  • Persistent Mingo chat session in desktop app

Mingo AI chat sessions in the OpenFrame Desktop App now persist across in-app navigation instead of resetting when moving between Devices, Tickets, and KB sections.

  • Refreshed 'Check your email' page design

Updated the 'Check your email' page to match the latest design system and improved responsiveness across viewports.

  • Search added to Employees & Permissions

Admins can now search for team members by name or email on the Employees & Permissions settings page.

  • Faster Fleet live query and policy check-ins

Reduced Fleet's distributed_interval from 60 to 10 seconds so live queries and policy checks reach agents more quickly.

  • Cleared security vulnerabilities in openframe-client

Bumped the Rust lockfile to update openssl and rustls-webpki, resolving current Trivy vulnerability findings.

  • Apple account deletion now revokes stored token

Apple refresh tokens are now captured and stored so they can be properly revoked when a user deletes their account, fully disconnecting the app from their Apple ID.

  • Confirmation step added for shared-domain first login

Added a 'One Last Step' confirmation screen showing identity, organization, and role before account creation completes for shared-domain SSO logins.

  • Invite acceptance screen redesigned

Aligned the invited-member SSO first-login confirmation screen with new designs, showing identity, organization, and role before completing account creation.

  • Claude Fable 5 model added, Opus 4.8 set as default

Fable 5 is now available as a selectable AI model for Mingo and Fae, while Opus 4.8 remains the default for a proven experience unless users opt in.

  • Fae and Mingo settings overhaul

Added default quick actions with customization and reordering support, restructured Answer Style settings with tooltips, and introduced per-customer configuration overrides.

  • Visual polish across KB editor, notifications, and monitoring pages

Fixed visual issues in the KB editor, notification drawer, Mingo markdown renderer, and improved loading skeletons and icon styling across monitoring pages.

  • Machine timezone now published proactively from client

The client now detects and publishes system timezone on agent start, reconnect, and timezone change, replacing the old server-request flow.

  • Mingo can now access device vulnerability data

Mingo can now read device vulnerability information to answer technician questions and provide more informed remediation suggestions.

  • Native OS notifications implemented

Added support for native operating system notifications.

  • Removed paid API calls from osquery agent

Eliminated calls to paid external APIs from the osquery agent to prevent unnecessary third-party costs.

  • Second client instance run command hidden

Hid the dev-only command for running a second client instance from help output to prevent unintended use.
